Mark is a skilled and motivated Mortgage Broker, with a history of working in data-driven fields. A former Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience, and Statistics, Mark began his career conducting research into short-term memory and Alzheimer’s. He then spent time working for the Government analysing data on social housing. This piqued his interest in giving people the homes they deserve.
His career in the private sector kicked-off with the small property letting and maintenance business that he started with his wife. After this, the natural progression was to gain professional qualifications in home financing.
Mark prides himself on clear, friendly, data-driven advice that allows people to plan for a lifetime, not just for a few years at a time. Whether you’re a first-time-buyer, or an experienced landlord, the bigger picture is key to getting you the product that’s right for you.
Away from the office, Mark is an adventurous soul, holding Guinness World and national records in paddle sports and ice-racing. He has represented Great Britain at triathlon, climbed Kilimanjaro, and spent a year living in the Falkland Islands working, volunteering, and surfing! Mark is always happy for a chat about housing, and people’s overall plans in general. Give him a call and see what he can do for you!
